I am a Qualified Supervisor in Florida available to provide supervision to mental health counseling interns, doctoral level students and post-docs, as well as licensed professionals in-person or via Doxy, which is a HIPPA compliant video conferencing program. Aside from general clinical supervision, I have specific interests and expertise which might be of use to others.

  • I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) granted from the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). I can provide specifically eating disorder supervision to any professional seeking ongoing consultation in that area. I have worked for a total of 10 years in the eating disorder field, including 7 years of residential treatment, as well as time in intensive outpatient programming (IOP) and outpatient services. I have led extensive group work and individual psychotherapy with eating disordered clients in the above levels of care. While my particular passion is working with binge eating disordered clients, I have a strong knowledge and foundation in the whole spectrum of eating disordered struggles. Some common roadblocks that professionals often run into includes: assessing appropriate level of care, psycho-education for family and friends, client motivation and resistance to recovery, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, as well as how nutritional and medical complications impact the psychological state of the client.

  • I have a concentration from my doctoral program in Health Psychology. I spent multiple years training and serving those who struggle with medical diagnoses and support lifestyle changes and/or emotional struggles that follow such life-altering moments. I have served in this role both in a hospital in a consultation-liason service, as well as in outpatient practice. The medical issues that I have supported others in managing include: oncology, cardiology, renal dialysis, and women’s health.

Rates for supervision are determined on an individual basis and vary, depending on licensure and the type of supervision needed.
